I am currently teaching 4th grade.

I have a self-contained classroom.  I am responsible for teaching all subjects.

Years Experience

I started teaching in 1997, after graduating from Blue Mountain College with a degree in Elementary Education.  I started out teaching second grade at Grenada Lower Elementary.  Our family moved to New Orleans a year later and I taught second grade in private schools in the Orleans and Jefferson Parishes while there.  We moved back to Grenada in 2002.  I then began teaching at Grenada Upper Elementary.

Family

I am married to Fletcher Moorman.  He is originally from the Grenada area.  We have two daughters.  Shelby is eight years old and in the second grade at Grenada Lower Elementary.  Carrie is four years old. 

Homework

Homework is sent home nightly.  Each child is responsible for writing their homework in the planner each day.  I do sign my initials after checking the planners.  I make sure they have it written down.  Please check their planners and homework each evening.  **Make sure they are learning their multiplication facts.  Practice each evening.

Schedule

Discovery Lab-every other Wednesday at 9:00

Greenhouse- every Thursday at 12:15

Activity Time-everyday at 1:40

Conference Time-everyday from 1:40-2:25

Lunch-11:30
