Melody Miller

About the Teacher:

Hello, my name is Melody Miller.  I am currently teaching 5th grade Math to five 5th grade classes--Mrs. Kilgore's, Mrs. Worsham's, Mrs. Trusty's, Mrs. Williams', and my homeroom.  I have been teaching at GUES for 8 1/2 years.  I previously taught 1st grade for 1 1/2 years at Moor Attendance Center.  

I received my bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University.

I am married to Scottie Miller and have 3 children--Meghan-15, Allie-11, and Garrett-5. 

Classroom Philosophy:

I believe that every child should receive and deserves the best education possible.  I try to make sure that this occurs by giving the children rules and guidelines that should be followed and are enforced by the teachers.  This helps to ensure that every child in my class receives an equal opportunity to learn in a fun and enriching learning environment.
