About the Teacher:

 Dear Families,

I am looking forward to serving as your fourth and fifth grade Looping teacher.  I am beginning my eighth year of teaching.   I graduated from Grenada High School, attended Holmes Community College and received Phi Theta Kappa Honors, obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University and completed my National Board Certification in 2006.  I have recently obtained my Master's in curriculum and instruction from the University of Mississippi.

I look forward to working with each of you.  Please feel free to contact me at anytime. You can always reach me through the school number or my email at mrskingspad@yahoo.comI believe a teacher is someone who can extend a child’s learning to a new height.  Teachers should have a yearning to teach others, be excited about teaching the curriculum, and love to learn new ways of teaching, too.  The sole priority is for children to have success that will take them from the classroom to the real world.

Your teacher,

               Christa King

Please feel free to email me at mrskingspad@yahoo.com
