I have a freshman in college (Gabrielle) and a seventh grader (Noah).
Classroom Philosophy:
I believe that children are social beings who learn best in real-life activities with their peers.My approach is traditional, my daily routine is to train the mind, promote reasoning, instill respect for authority, and to ensure a common culture.
Homework: week of NOVEMBER 3- READING VOC. WORDS AND SPELLING WORDS ARE THE SAME WORDS!!!!
Mon.- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday (no school)
Tues.- Reading- The students will write voc. wrds & definintions # 1-10 5x each, learn to spell them and learn the definition for test. Read the selection "The Storm" pp.326-338 /Language-pp.202-203
Wed.- .Reading-write #11-15/5x ea. and study them for test(Reread "The Storm" for comprehension test /Lang.pp.204-205
Thurs.- Reading-write #16-20/5x ea. Study vocabulary for Spelling and matching test.** /Lang.pp206--207
Fri.- Test on vocabulary plus spelling test
Weekly Announcements: Parents, please continue to encourage your child to read his/her AR book at least 20 mins. nightly.
