Career Fair October 31, 2008 |

GUES is hosting a Career Fair on Friday, October 31st. If you are interested in attending, please call our office at 226-2818. You may also contact our coordinator, Christa King, at mrskingspad@yahoo.com.
Professionals from our community are invited to attend our Career Fair on the 31st. We invite you to be a part of our adventure and share your career with our students. We only ask that each professional be prepared to share your career during three rotations for about 5-10 minutes. Professionals may consider bringing in manipulatives, presentation boards, or other materials that would give our students a better understanding of the job. The professionals can consider covering answers to the key points the students have researched: years of education, cost of education, available scholarships in that field, salary scale, job requirements, job locations...etc. The students will also have the opportunity to ask questions to the professionals.
Our Pizzazz show choir will be performing around 9:50, at the end of the mornings events.
Mrs. Denley and Mrs. Lee from our school media center have graciously stepped in to assist the students in researching their career choices.
Mrs. White in our computer lab helped each fourth grade classroom take our career preference assessment during September.
Mrs. Jan Walton from the Mississippi State University Extension service has generously contributed career boards to display in our media center.
